To qualify for the courses the student must be employed or preparing to be employed by a licensed AHCA Hospital. All course dates are listed on our training calendar and students must be registered 2 weeks prior to review dates.
To register students must have approval from their Healthcare Director of security and complete the Invictus IAHSS registration form. Courses are limited to space eligibility and each Healthcare Facility/Hospital will be limited to a couple of seats per course.
The State of Florida requires that all Florida Class G Security Officers and Armed Private Investigators re-qualify at least once per year with the type of handgun that they carry on duty. Invictus provides annual Class “G” 4 hr re-qualification. Failure to complete the annual 4-hour G recertification will disqualify students for G license renewal, and students will be required by the State of Florida to complete the entire 28-hour G course.
