Invictus is more than a traditional security guard company.
Our capabilities include professional security consulting, physical security assessments, security program design, security officer services, executive protection, security training and investigative support.
This combination allows our team to evaluate a security problem from multiple perspectives.
We understand the operational side of security because we provide protective services.
We understand training because we have trained security professionals throughout Florida.
We understand physical security because our consultants evaluate facilities, security systems, policies, personnel and procedures.
And we understand implementation because we have helped clients move from identifying security vulnerabilities to putting practical security measures into operation.
Invictus was founded by former United States Reconnaissance Marines who brought the leadership, planning and operational discipline developed during military service into the private security industry.
Those principles continue to influence how we approach our work today.
Our philosophy is straightforward: understand the mission, identify the risks, develop the plan and execute it professionally.
For our clients, that means security recommendations and services should be based on actual needs rather than standardized packages.
Whether we are evaluating a residential community, protecting a commercial property, designing a security program or training security personnel, our objective is to understand the client’s environment before recommending a solution.
Security decisions can affect people, operations, property and organizational liability.
They should therefore be supported by professionals with relevant experience and specialized knowledge.
The Invictus team includes professionals with backgrounds in:
Our consulting capabilities also include professionals holding recognized security credentials and specialized physical-security and Crime Prevention Through Environmental Design experience.
Individual leadership and consultant biographies should be reviewed for the credentials and experience applicable to a particular engagement.
Invictus provides security consulting for organizations that need an independent understanding of their risks and vulnerabilities.
Our consultants evaluate how security personnel, procedures, physical safeguards and technology work together to protect an organization.
Consulting engagements can include:
Security risk assessments, physical security assessments, security surveys, CPTED assessments, guard-force evaluations, access-control reviews, video-surveillance assessments, security program development, policy and procedure development, security technology design, RFP development and implementation support.
The objective is not simply to identify problems.
Our goal is to help clients understand which vulnerabilities matter most and what practical steps can be taken to reduce risk.

Professional security begins with professional training.
Invictus has extensive experience providing training to security professionals in Florida.
Through our training operations and sister school, Security Training Group, students can pursue Florida Class D Security Officer and Class G Statewide Firearm training.
The complete 40-hour Class D course is available through qualifying live online instruction, while students pursuing the initial Class G license can complete 20 of the required 28 training hours live online before attending the required in-person firearms and range portion.
Beyond minimum licensing instruction, our security background allows training to incorporate practical lessons concerning access control, patrols, report writing, professionalism, emergency response and the responsibilities security personnel encounter in the field.

Invictus personnel have supported security, logistics and emergency-response operations in the United States and internationally.
Our current company history includes work associated with disaster and emergency environments in locations including Haiti, the Philippines, Kenya, Turkey, Peru, Nepal, Puerto Rico and the Bahamas.
Within the United States, Invictus has supported operations associated with major emergencies and disasters, including hurricanes affecting Florida and other significant response operations.
Experience in disrupted environments reinforces an important principle of security planning: protection systems must function not only during normal operations but also when facilities, communications, utilities and staffing are under stress.
That perspective informs our approach to emergency planning, continuity and protective operations.
Invictus works with public and private organizations whose security requirements vary considerably by environment.
Our experience includes work involving:
Security strategies are developed according to the risks, operations and requirements of the individual client rather than applying the same solution to every environment.
We believe effective security depends on the integration of people, procedures, physical safeguards and technology.
A security camera is only valuable when it is positioned and operated appropriately.
An access-control system is only effective when credentials and authorization procedures are properly managed.
A security officer is most effective when duties, training, supervision and response expectations are clearly defined.
For that reason, Invictus looks at the complete protection system rather than evaluating individual security components in isolation.
Our consulting and operational services are designed around that systems-based approach.
We believe our clients should receive accurate information, professional conduct and recommendations made in their best interests.
Security professionals must be willing to identify difficult problems, communicate concerns clearly and take responsibility when action is required.
Trust is fundamental to security.
Our relationships with clients, employees, students and partners depend on doing what we say we will do and maintaining professional standards throughout the engagement.
These values originated in the military backgrounds of our founders and remain central to the culture of Invictus.
Invictus believes clients should know who is responsible for the professional advice and security services they receive.
Our leadership and consulting team brings experience in military operations, private security, security management, physical protection, training and emergency preparedness.
Invictus leadership has also contributed subject-matter expertise to Florida’s private-security profession, including participation in state advisory and training-related activities.
Detailed leadership biographies should identify each professional’s role, credentials, relevant appointments and areas of expertise so clients can understand the experience behind our services.
Invictus maintains Florida licenses applicable to our security, investigative and training activities.
Current license information should be displayed clearly so clients can verify the company’s authority to provide regulated services.

Founder & Security Consultant | Invictus Security & Academy
Patrick is a security consultant, Certified Protection Professional (CPP®), Florida Crime Prevention Through Environmental Design Practitioner (FCP), and United States Marine Corps veteran with extensive experience in physical security, risk assessment, security operations, training, and protective services.
Patrick served as a Force Reconnaissance Marine and Sergeant in the United States Marine Corps, participating in combat operations during both Operation Enduring Freedom in Afghanistan and Operation Iraqi Freedom. His military experience included deep reconnaissance, security operations, tactical planning, and work in high-risk environments.
Following his military service, Patrick spent approximately six years as a U.S. Government security contractor, supporting missions for the U.S. Department of State and a U.S. intelligence agency. His overseas contracting experience included assignments in Iraq and Israel, including service with a Global Response Staff (GRS) program supporting U.S. intelligence operations. These assignments required operating in high-threat environments where protective security, threat assessment, situational awareness, operational planning, and rapid response were critical to mission success.
Patrick later transitioned his military and government security experience into the private security industry and founded Invictus Security, where he has worked with residential communities, commercial properties, organizations, security companies, and property management teams throughout Florida.
His consulting work focuses on identifying vulnerabilities and developing practical security strategies using principles of Crime Prevention Through Environmental Design (CPTED), physical security, access control, perimeter protection, surveillance, lighting, security technology, policies and procedures, and guard-force operations.
Patrick has particular experience conducting security assessments for gated communities, homeowners associations, condominiums, multifamily residential properties, country clubs, and other private communities. His assessments examine how people, technology, physical barriers, policies, and security personnel work together as an integrated security program.
Patrick is a Certified Protection Professional (CPP®) through ASIS International and a Florida CPTED Practitioner. He has also served the State of Florida in security-industry advisory roles, including service on the Private Investigation, Recovery and Security Advisory Council (PIRSAC) and participation in public-safety and security-industry initiatives.
As a security instructor, Patrick has trained security officers, supervisors, managers, and other professionals in areas including security operations, firearms, de-escalation, workplace violence prevention, emergency response, and crime prevention. He has also helped develop and implement Florida security-officer training programs and online security education.
Patrick earned a Bachelor of Arts in Security Management from American Military University.
Today, he works with clients to develop security programs based on a layered approach of Deter, Detect, Delay, Deny, and Respond—helping organizations identify vulnerabilities, strengthen protective measures, improve operational procedures, and make informed security investments.
