Florida requires security guards to complete 40 hours of professional security training. We offer the Security D License in Palm Beach every week at our Boynton security school academy.

To become a security guard in the State of Florida you must complete the unarmed 40-hour Security D Course. We offer the Security D Class weekly and the classes are 10 hours a day from Monday-Thursday starting at 0800. Invictus also offers the American Heart First Aid, CPR, and Certification the same week as the D Course. and then apply for licensure in the State of Florida Division of Licensing.
Once you graduate from Invictus security school students will be provided with our Security Guard Training Certificate of Completion and can then obtain their temporary security license.
Note: According to the DOL, applicants for the Florida security license must be at least 18 years of age, have no disqualifying criminal history and be legally allowed to work in the United States.
To work in Palm Beach as a security officer you must obtain the Security D License. Invictus has actual recruiters who hire directly from our classes. We also have a job board that has security jobs posted to help our students find employment opportunities in Palm Beach.
To work armed security, students must complete the unarmed security class and then complete the Statewide Firearms Class G License. The course is offered every Friday-Sunday for the armed security training. Invictus firearms training courses are Second to None and prepare our students to work in an armed capacity.
