To work as a security guard in Florida, security officers must complete the security license class in Orlando. The class D security license is the required security guard course you must complete to apply for Orlando security jobs.  To apply for a security guard job, the individual must already have the security D license issued. Our Orlando security academy offers the security D course in North Florida covering the following counties and cites;. Kissimmee, Winter Haven, Titusville, Cocoa Beach, Daytona Beach, Deltona, Almonte Springs, Pine Hills, Oak Ridge. Our security school offers a full range of security guard courses including the class G license (armed security license). The security license class “D” is 40 hours of classroom training at one of our licensed security schools (DS).  The division of licensing has the course curriculum broken down into two security officer courses. PART I- 24 hour security D course and PART II- 16 hour security D course.

(As of 1/1/2012 security students must complete the entire 40 Hour training to apply for the Class “D” security license)

Invictus offers the American Red Cross First Aid Training and Certification in the 24 Hour Security Class D Course. We offer the American Red Cross Professional Rescuer CPR and AED Certification after each 24 hour D Course (Except Weekend Courses). Security Officers are the first on the Scene of most Medical Emergencies and should be able to respond to any Basic Medical Emergency which may save the lives of the People they are protecting.
