Handgun Courses

Course Goal
The Invictus Basic Handgun Course is designed for the law abiding citizen who wishes to learn the basic knowledge, skills, and attitude necessary for owning and using a pistol safely. This course is for Beginner-Intermediate students who are looking to obtain a concealed weapons license or who already posses a concealed weapons license.

• Florida Statutes

• Use of Force

• Pistol Knowledge and Safe Handling

• Fundamentals of Marksmanship

• Firearms Mechanics (Loading and Unloading)

• Drawing from a concealed posture

• Live Fire Marksmanship Training

• Proper cleaning and storage of pistols

Course Length:
This is a full day course – approximately 5 hours.
(This includes all classroom and range time. Depending upon the number of students and their abilities, the course length may vary.)

Course Cost:
The fee for this course is currently $120. (We Offer Group and family discounts)
Includes Course Material Training Equipment, Notarizations, Passport Photo, Range Fees, Ammunition and Targets (Does not Include Gun Rental). Also Includes CCW Certificate.

Prerequisites
There are no prerequisites for taking this course.
Just arrive with an open mind and a positive attitude, ready to learn.

Course Completion
Upon successful completion of the course, students will receive a Invictus Basic Firearms Course certificate. Students will also receive a Concealed Carry Weapons certificate for their Concealed Carry License.
