Mr. Miller has spent 20 years as a security professional in the U.S. Military, Federal Government, and the private security sector. His experience includes both Stateside Security as well as High Threat International Security Operations.
Mr. Miller currently serves as the President of Invictus, a Florida-based security consulting and training company. Additionally, Mr. Miller served six years in the United States Marine Corps as a Force Reconnaissance Marine. He is a Combat Veteran serving in both Operations Enduring Freedom- Afghanistan and Iraqi Freedom-Iraq. Upon being Honorably Discharged from the Marine Corps, Mr. Miller became a private security contractor for Diplomatic State Security at the U.S. Consulate in Israel. As a private Federal Security Contractor for 6 years, Mr. Miller was a site security supervisor for the Coalition Provisional Authority (CPA) Compounds in Iraq during the American-Iraq Government transition. He also conducted a variety of security operations, personal protection, security assessments, and guard force readiness training in support of the U.S. Global War on Terror for the Department of Defense throughout the Middle East.
Mr. Miller was appointed to a 4-year term by the Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services. He is currently serving as a subject matter expert on the Private Investigative, Recovery and Security Advisory Council to the State of Florida, Division of Licensing. Mr. Miller also serves as a Vice Chairman of the American Society for Industrial Security (ASIS) Palm Beach Chapter 254. He continues to support the military community by serving on the Board of Directors for the Wounded Veterans Relief Fund.
Florida Licenses and Certifications: Class M Security & Investigations Manager, Class D Security, Class G Statewide Firearms, Class C Private Investigator, Class DI Security Instructor, Class K Firearms Instructor, NRA Law Enforcement Handgun and Patrol Rifle Instructor.
Phillip directs and maintains authority for all financial, administrative and compliance functions within the organization. In addition, Phil reviews all service proposals and oversees strategic planning, corporate governance, diversification initiatives and business development. Phillip served eight years in the Special Operations Community of the United States Marine Corps and is a Combat Veteran of Operations Iraqi and Enduring Freedom. Additionally, Phillip served as a Direct Action, Special Reconnaissance Instructor at the Marine Special Operations School. Phillip continues to support his military community as the Founder & Volunteer Director of the Brothers In Arms Foundation, a volunteer-operated 501c3 Non-Profit Organization dedicated to supporting Fallen, wounded, ill and injured United States Special Operations Marines and Fleet Marine Force Navy Corpsmen and their families.
Dr. Finley served 28 years as a Special Agent of the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI). Dr. Finley was assigned to the Special Operations Group of the FBI and while assigned to the New York Division, actively conducted Technical Surveillance Countermeasure Sweeps, surreptitious entries, and physical security assessments. Dr. Finley has lectured at the university level and at private symposiums on Maritime Security, Homeland Security, MTSA Compliance Matters, Terrorism, Underwater Crime Scenes, PTSD in Security Officers, and Technical Surveillance Countermeasures.
Dr. Finley was previously employed with G4S Secure Solutions, USA as the Director of Training for the North America Training Institute (NATI). Additional, Dr. Finley has been on the Executive Protection details for U.S. Attorney General Janet Reno and U.S. Congressman Allen B. West.
Dr. Finley served on the Board of Directors for the American Society of Industrial Security (ASIS) International Palm Beach Chapter, as well as being on the ASIS National Standards Committee for Investigations. Dr. Finley is a Certified Protection Professional (CPP) through ASIS International.
Dr. Finley holds a Doctor of Philosophy in Education Leadership with a Global Perspective, a Master of Science in Criminal Justice Administration with a concentration in Forensic Science, and a Bachelor of Science in Geology. Mr. Finley served Honorably in the United States Air Force.
